Somewhere in the year 2017, the originator of Ghana’s tongue twisting, Quata Budukusu broke world record with a 13-track album featured on a single riddim christened “Quantum Riddim”. The Reggae project embarked by the rapper was distributed worldwide on all digital platforms by VPAL Music, distribution wing for VP Records label. His album “Quantum Riddim” was consideration for 2018 Grammy Awards nomination for the “Best Reggae Album” category
Without falling prey to complacency which is depicted in African’s attitude after achieving feat, Ghana’s tongue twister dropped another chart topping album titled, “Quantum L.P” which is a continuation of ‘The Quantum Legacy‘ project by the musician in question.
Fast forward, ‘Quantum L.P’ by Quata Budukusu of Bakus Entertainment fame has been selected for consideration for 2019 Grammy Awards for the “World Best Music Album” category, ghbase.com can categorically state.

However, it will interest you to know that consideration is the first step of attaining a Grammy. The second step is for the Academy to vote and narrow down the list to a nomination list. The final step is for Academy members to vote for award recipients.
For the purpose of clarity, the Grammy award for “World Best Music Album” is an honor presented to recording artists for quality albums in the world music genre at the Grammy Awards, a ceremony that was established in 1958 and originally called the Gramophone Awards.
Honors in several categories are presented at the ceremony annually by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences of the United States to “honor artistic achievement, technical proficiency and overall excellence in the recording industry, without regard to album sales or chart position”.
